I’ve been hesitant to share some of the videos I’ve been involved in producing, because my favorite ones are restricted. Because they were produced for a specific event, and show the faces of survivors of sex trafficking, REST only has permission to use them in the context of that event—which means I cannot share them on my website.

While I’ve shot short form and “low-cost” video on my phone and with relatively non-fancy DSLRs, and have done basic editing, my role in most of the video projects I’ve participated involves scripts, shaping the story, and working with stakeholders and the video team to create cohesive and on-brand videos.

Here are a few that I am allowed to share:

“What is sex trafficking?” was produced with a team of stakeholders at REST, including on-staff survivors, with the amazing team at Epipheo.

“REST Programs” was created with a two-fold purpose: To share the full breadth of REST’s programs with fundraiser attendees at A Night of REST 2021, and to be able to use in segments to share in fundraising and educational presentations to offer a clear explanation of REST’s programs.

“Love Perseveres” was created at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to encourage REST supporters to give to support survivors during the compounded hardship. This is one example of a video that I produced end to end—it’s nothing fancy, but I gathered all the assets, cut, and did the audio mixing on this. (We opted for voices over videos to protect the identity of the survivors who we featured.)
